When I Embrace Her Love

Forgive me friends, I who have betrayed

A thousand times my soul to ego's will

In the holiest of cities blindly stayed

My progress for the dwarf-self's lust to fill.

You who have left the body's prison walls

Resting in a sphere devoid of pain,

Hear me as my inner being calls.

I bow to thee sweet spirits and again

Implore forgiveness as I have now begun

The distillation of those fragrant years,

The little good or harm I may have done

To you who live in company of seers,

For thoughtless acts in my oblivion

I ask thy absolution on this head,

Stunned by the death of my beloved one

And the rivers of tears in lonely nights I've shed.

The stains of the past I cannot yet remove

But all will change as I embrace Her love.
